The bar chart illustrates the popularity of three streaming services by showing the number of people who subscribed to them in 2020. The subscriber figures are divided by age. Netflix was the most popular streaming service with 12.5 million subscribers. At 5.5 million, the highest proportion of members were between the ages of 26 to 42, while the smallest proportion was made up of 18 to 25 year-olds (3 million). Similarly, the smallest number of Amazon subscribers were 18 to 25, accounting for 1.5 million of their subscribers. With more than double this figure, Disney was most popular among 18 to 25 year-olds, but the least popular with those aged 43 and over. On the other hand, Amazon was the least popular service with 6.5 million subscribers, which was 1.5 million fewer than Disney. The highest proportion of subscribers were over 43, accounting for 3 million of total subscribers. However, Netflix was the preferred service for this age group with 4 million subscribers. Overall, Netlfix was the most popular service, while Amazon was the least. It can also be seen that age significantly influenced people’s choice of streaming service.
